Sweet blueberries and fragrant basil create a bright, fruity flavor that’s perfect for hot afternoons, backyard barbecues, or relaxing on the porch.
Fresh blueberries naturally add a beautiful purple color, while basil brings a subtle herbal note that makes this iced tea taste like something you’d find at a café.

It’s easy to make with just a handful of ingredients and can be sweetened to your taste.

Tips for the Best Blueberry Basil Iced Tea
- Fresh blueberries produce the brightest flavor, but frozen blueberries work well too.
- Don’t over-steep the black tea or it may become bitter.
- Add sparkling water just before serving for a lightly fizzy summer drink.
- For an even stronger basil flavor, gently clap the basil leaves between your hands before adding them.

Make It Caffeine-Free
Replace the black tea with your favorite herbal tea for a caffeine-free version.
Add Lemon
A squeeze of fresh lemon juice brightens the blueberry flavor even more.
