Author Bio:
Hi! I’m Rachel Paxton—a freelance writer, homeschooling mom of six, and proud grandma of two. For nearly 30 years, I’ve been sharing my passion for cooking, canning, and homemaking. I’ve been canning for over 25 years and have been a certified Master Home Food Preserver for more than seven years, combining experience with practical tips to help others create delicious, homemade treasures.
Originally from Tri-Cities, Washington, I hold a BA in Humanities and Business from Washington State University. I spent over 20 years serving others through women’s ministry, small groups, and youth programs.
In addition to my work in the kitchen and ministry, I’m an artist, author, and certified mental health coach. I’m a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a licensed and ordained chaplain. Today, my family and I call Idaho home, where we live life creatively, joyfully, and with a heart for serving others.
